5 days into it...

So I am 5 days into my clean eating and i am down 8lbs!  Okay most is probably water but seeing the scale moving down makes me want to keep going!  My daughter Avery is getting into the clean eating with me which is so awesome to have a buddy doing it with me!
It really helped to prep.  I boiled a dozen eggs, cut up veggies, bought fruit that can easily be grabbed.  I also washed up grapes and put them in a container to grab when needed.  Enjoying cooking again at dinner has been fun and getting the kids to try new things is great.
So far this has been a win, win and not that hard.  I feel like I can eat all day and what I am eating I am enjoying.  I will keep this going for sure!
I will also admit to grabbing a handful of chocolate chips a couple of times but I am okay with that.  I am human after all...

My big tip though is the grab and go food.  It makes it so easy and I dont have to think too much about it.  My food list is on the frig and I fill my lunch box from that.

Now we are going into the weekend... a golf tourney and birthday party!  Wish me luck!!!
But I will say that I will bring a big water and snacks with me on the course and hope for the best!!!
I am bringing veggies and hummus to the party so when i want to munch I can eat the healthy things.  Honestly being down 8lbs makes me not want to be bad and put that back on!  Onward and downwards from here!!!

Day 1 everyone needs to start somewhere...

182.4 the worse number ever!  I have been following a Facebook page called Natalie Jill Fit.  She is very inspiring and hit rock bottom and climbed her way back out.  She looks fabulous and I have finally hit my mental state of wanting to feel good and not have pain in my hips and legs any longer.  I want my clothes to look good on me!!  I am not looking to be a super model but I want to look in the mirror and be happy with myself.
So it is day 1... I am drinking my coffee black with one Stevia and I am a cream girl.  And you know what it is not half bad... who knew!??  I am boiling my eggs right now and all my clean food has been bought.  I am going to cut up veggies today and put them in bags.  Grab and go for the work week.  I think the salads without dressing will be interesting but we will see??
I have been walking lately which I will continue to do.  And I am going to do the 30 day Ab Challenge.  If I am clean eating to work on the outside if I work on the inside of my Abs they may eventually catch up to one another... it cant hurt.  Tune back in to find out...
Heading to the golf course today, I will walk the course as I usually do.

First tip do not mix coconut oil and steel cut oats.  YUCK!!!
Need to pack my morning snacks now to take golfing...
